The Impact of Hybrid Employment for HR Departments

I was asked this week why now? should our homeownership assistance benefit be included as a new voluntary employee benefit choice?

And prior to this week, I would share statistics about the number of millennials in the workforce and how only 51% currently own a home and continue on with additional numbers that demonstrate latent demand.

But the reality is this. A hybrid work environment is here to stay. And employees who work outside the office want an environment of their own to work; i.e. their own home. Whether this is a condo, townhome or single-family home.

89% of US employees prefer a remote or hybrid work environment.

Savvy HR departments will understand their employee population base, those who are eligible to work hybrid or remote, and for those who do, offer resources & benefits that promote the continuation of this type of employment opportunity. And in turn, help to retain and attract employees.

Our benefit provides the financing flexibility and financial assistance to go from latent demand to effective demand for a future home buyer in 2024.

That future home buyer could very well be a valuable employee you would like to retain.
